That’s 18 names, plus we could use the same names in different rounds, no? Like right now I could put DE Jordan Willis in the 2nd, 3rd & 4th rounds because apparently nobody knows where to rank him.

I am open to anything but I do want to somehow reward 1st choices with more points. For instance, in the 1st round if I enter 1) Myles Garrett 2) Jonathan Allen 3) Solomon Thomas…that my placement of Garrett in the 1st spot is my ‘money guess’, for lack of a better phrase.

I can see ranking our selections on the first day as an easy addition to the rules. But because we won’t know trade moves/rounds employed, it seems easier to pool choices on the second and third days (with bonus points if right round guessed). Of course, easier doesn’t necessarily mean better…

That sounds good, making a TOP 3 for Day One (5 pts-4 pts-3 pts?) and then creating a pool of candidates for Days 2 & 3.

In the case of Willis, that pool would carry over to the next day if he wasn’t selected in Round 3. Excellent.

Close. I’ve got seven slots for day three. Then there’s the scoring for days two and three: five points for correct name, bonus point for correct round. Then there’s your suggestion to rank the first day’s names and score accordingly. I do think there could be multiple trades, so there could be more bonus points to be had there. I’ll update the proposed rules at the top of the page if we’re agreed so far…

I’m thinking you’d have to re-enter Jake Butt for day three if you entered him in day two and he wasn’t taken.

No points for correct position wrong player. Last year one contestant (I think it was Time is NOW) got the most players right but still lost the contest. This is an attempt to reward the most successful predictions while keeping the contest simple.

The versatile UConn safety addresses a critical need in the construction of the Seattle Southeast defensive approach. Ricardo Allen moves to the nickel position and provides depth because we STILL want to move Ishmael to linebacker. Duh!!!

    (2) Dan Fenney

Finally, the offensive guard issues are resolved once and for all with a real, top tier talent at the position. Feeney can play either left or right guard. I personally would like to see long term, Feeney at LG and Matthews at RG. Left tackle will have to wait until 2018 to be addressed either via FA or the draft.

    (3) Demarcus Walker

Yep, Flo, I did it again (LOL). Great value here. A true defensive end in the Michael Bennett role. Has the luxury of being a role player this year behind the rentals that are Reed, Clayborn, and Upshaw while refining his craft to become the starter next season.

No Trades PLEASE!! (I have my Jacksonville attire order on speed dial).

    1st round
    (1) DE Jordan Willis, Kansas State
    (2) DE Taco Charlton, Michigan
    (3) TE Evan Engram, Mississippi State
No trade. However if Lamp, Willis, and Charlton are drafted before pick #31, I could see a trade with the Jets as follows: our #31 (600 points) and our #95 (120 points) (720 total points) for Jets #39 (510 points) and Jets #70 (240 points) (750 total points) and we then select TE Evan Engram (if still available) or, if he is not, LB Tyus Bowser (Houston) or DT Chris Wormley (Michigan) at pick #39.

I had hoped to play on, but I hadn’t even finished my work day by the deadline. My day started early with someone’s truck running into a building a little before 6 a.m. and my meeting with the police about 6:15 a.m. after the driver fled.
Anyway, if I had been able to timely participate, my 5 guesses would have been OG Dion Dawkins, OG Dan Feeney, safety Josh Jones, safety Justin Evans, and DE DeMarcus Walker.
